Who we are
A decade of straight answers
Smart Gold Calgary started because too many people were walking out of gold shops with a number and no explanation. We opened with state-of-the-art XRF testing on the customer side of the counter, and we've never moved it.
Today we're one of the city's busiest bullion desks — trading gold and silver bars, 9999 coins, estate jewellery, loose diamonds and luxury watches. Investors, families settling an estate, and first-time sellers all get the same treatment: an honest read, a fast valuation, and payment the same visit.
We do not buy plated items, and we'll always say so up front rather than waste your afternoon.
